George Theakos is currently teaching the Filipino martial art, Kali, at the OCKB Academy in California. Mr. Theakos started his martial arts training in Tae Kwon Do on the East Coast under the eye of eighth degree black belt Soo Young Cha.

“My goal as an instructor in Martial arts is to teach people to have courage in all areas of their lives through self defense.”
He then moved to California for more training to balance out the strong stances and kicks of Karate by adding the very effective hand techniques of Kenpo while simultaneously training in Krav Maga at their National Headquarters in Los Angeles. While there he learned the more street oriented techniques, drills and defenses that are taught to the Israeli military. With that knowledge base, and after spending some time training and achieving minor belts in no Gi grappling and Savate, George has been able to advance his education in the self defense and Martial Art world by continuing to train diligently and consistently for the last eight years thereby obtaining the following degrees:
- Black Belt in the Hawaiian Martial Art, Lima Lama, with Paul Reyas head instructor.
- Associate Instructor in Muai Thai under Arjan Chai Sirisute.
- Apprentice Instructor in Kali under Danny Inosanto and Dan Sullivan.
- Apprentice Instructor in JKD under Danny Inosanto and Dan Sullivan.
- Full Instructor under Sigung Paul Vunak
Mr. Theakos is available for personal and semi-private training. Contact him through PHONE: (949) 310-7014 or E-MAIL
